Grant Funds and Assistance Still Available for Primary Care Physicians
As a member of the San Bernardino County Medical Society, you need to be aware of an organization affiliated with SBCMS that may greatly benefit your practice at no cost to you.
The Inland Empire EHR Resource Center is a federally funded organization to help physicians implement an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Not only does the organization help with expertise and guidance, but can help to assist you in reaching meaningful use to qualify for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act payments of $44,000 to $64,000 per provider from either Medicare or Medi-Cal.
The amount of funding available can only help 1 out of every 4 primary care physicians so we want to make sure that our member physicians who qualify do not miss this opportunity. Only 120 slots remain available!
If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Kathy Thunholm, Project Director, at (951) 686-1825 or kthunholm@ieehrc.org. You can also contact Jim Peterson, Executive Director at (951) 787-7700 or jpeterson@sbcms.org anytime.
