Dr. Guillermo Valenzuela is investing in our youth through TECH program



Dr. Guillermo Valenzuela, an obstetrics and gynecology physician, is a 35-year member of the San Bernardino County Medical Society and the California Medical Association who comprehends the importance in investing in our youth. “We have so many wonderfully bright and talented students in our region who don’t see college as an attainable goal. Through these programs, we have been able to provide students with the support and encouragement they needed to help them achieve their goals.”

Dr. Valenzuela founded and launched programs in the Inland Empire. The TECH (Technology Encouraging College Hopes) Laptop Scholarship Program, has awarded personal laptop computers to elementary school students in the Riverside Unified School District. 

Some Riverside elementary school students can write an essay or draw a picture in hopes of winning a free laptop

The deadline to enter Dr. Guillermo Valenzuela’s 12th annual TECH Scholarship Program is Monday, April 1.

The longtime Inland physician will be giving away 18 new laptops in a program launched to get youths thinking about college. Click here for more information.
