During the April 30, 2001 Board of Directors meeting, SBCMS President Doctor Dev A. Gnanadev and SBCMS-Alliance President Lorene Sponsler presented a check totaling $4,019.75 to Brian Bull, M.D, Dean of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine (LLUSM) on behalf of the AMA-Alliance and the American Medical Association Foundation.
The check represents $1,502.25 in Medical School Excellence Funds, and $2,517.50 in AMA Foundation Scholars scholarships or loan programs.
