SBCMS COVID-19 Resources:

  • Alternative Housing:  Download list of compiled list of hotels, inns, suites, etc. who are providing free or discounted rates to frontline healthcare workers.
     
  • Volunteers Needed: Sign up today at www.healthcorps.ca.gov. SBCMS is also compiling list of local volunteers (physicians, residents, medical student, retired physicians, and additional healthcare workers) to assist at alternative care sites throughout the county.  Complete the SBCMS survey here to volunteer.
     
  • PPE Request Form
    Physicians and hospitals in need of personal protective equipment (PPE), should contact the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency (ICEMA) via email, ICEMADutyOfficer@cao.sbcounty.gov, or complete their Resource Request form and fax to (909) 388-5825.  Anyone interested in donating needed PPE for healthcae providers can contact Alison Elsner, Executive Director, San Bernardino County Medical Society, via cell at (760) 413-5053.

HHS awards nearly $500 million to expand testing capacity in California

HHS recently awarded to California $499,203,180 in new funding to support testing for COVID-19. This funding will provide critical support to develop, purchase, administer, process and analyze COVID-19 tests, as well as to conduct surveillance, trace contacts and related activities.

Deadline to apply for 2nd round of HHS provider relief funds is June 3
