New Member Benefit: Members save 50% on DaisyBill RBRVS Calculator

The California Medical Association (CMA) is pleased to announce a new valuable benefit for CMA members – 50 percent off DaisyBill’s workers' compensation RBRVS Calculator, plus a special introductory rate of 80 percent off through the end of June. That works out to $9.80 per user per month until June, then $24.50 per month thereafter.

With DaisyBill’s calculator, you can quickly and easily determine the correct reimbursement amount for workers’ compensation medical services. This is time and money saving benefit will help physician practices make sense of California’s new RBRVS-based workers' compensation reimbursement schedule, which went into effect on January 1, 2014.

The new regulations are voluminous and wide-ranging, and include:

  • 15,635 codes
  •  Six changing fee schedules
  •  California-specific codes and payment rules
  •  1,000+ codes eliminated
  •  Entirely different methods to calculate fees
  •  Adoption of Medicare billing rules
  •  Exceptions to Medicare billing rules

For workers’ compensation, the change to an RBRVS-based system constitutes not just a change in the reimbursement amount for all treatment provided to injured workers, but also constitutes a major shift in the manner in which bills are submitted for this treatment.

For example, providers must now be aware of new coding specifics such as which OMFS codes can no longer be used and that the reimbursement amount for all E/M codes increased for dates of service as of January 1, 2014.

With DaisyBill’s RBRVS Calculator it takes minutes to adapt to the new RBRVS billing processes. Don’t struggle, instead use DaisyBill’s calculator to immediately:

  • Correct your superbill by replacing old codes with the new RBRVS codes
  • Know the new reimbursement amounts for all treatment codes

The DaisyBill RBRVS Calculator seamlessly integrates the many variables that are now required for calculations. DaisyBill’s calculator also works for all dates of service — both before and after the implementation of the RBRVS fee schedules.

To take advantage of your CMA member discount, a special discount code is needed. Click here to get your code or contact CMA's member service center at (800) 786-4262 or memberservice@cmanet.org.
